Sita is interested on the interdependency between people, environment and economic development. Prior to joining the lab, Sita was a researcher at LIPI (Indonesian Institute of Sciences). She examined human ecology issues under the Research Center for Population. She also taught Social Statistics to undergraduates at the University of Indonesia. Prior to LIPI, Sita was part of a global comparative study conducted by CIFOR (Center for International Forestry Research) where she examined the socio-economic impact of REDD+ initiatives for more than 4 years. She has also worked with ICRAF (World Agroforestry Center) on Payments for Environmental Services. In her spare time, Sita enjoys spending happy hour with friends, the sounds of a great music playlist, and practicing yoga.
